Illinois Ranked No. 1 For Frozen Pipe Damage

More people in Illinois place claims for frozen-pipe damage than in any other state.   That’s according to a new report from State Farm Insurance.  It ranked Illinois number-one in the nation for frozen pipe damage, with seven-point-two-million dollars in claims last year.  Plumbers say one way to avoid frozen pipes during sub-freezing temperatures is to let your faucet drip.
