A man sentenced to 55 years in prison for murder in 2014 is facing a reduced sentence. Delmont Thomas Junior had his sentence cut in half Wednesday. Thomas qualified for resentencing under a law that allows reconsideration for juveniles tried as an adult facing close to a life sentence. He was 16-years old when he killed 41-year-old Brian Carney in 2011.
