Bars and restaurants in Illinois would get some help under a COVID-19 Relief Package approved by the Senate. Bars and restaurants have been hit hard during the pandemic, with many fighting just to keep the lights on. Senator Sara Feigenholtz of Chicago is sponsoring the new legislation that allows bars and restaurants to sell pre-made cocktails for delivery or pickup. The bill also allows retailers to pay distributors with a credit card and makes it easier to accept donations of things like tents and heaters.
