Advocates are demanding more visitation freedom for fully-vaccinated long-term care residents. A group is expressing concern that many facilities require any resident who leaves overnight to quarantine for 14 days, even if they are vaccinated. Some facilities are also continuing to limit or not allow visitation by family, even when residents have been vaccinated. Family members say the isolation is detrimental to residents’ health.
