Woman Accused of Embezzling 25K From Elderly Man

A Mattoon woman is accused of embezzling thousands from an elderly man.  Heidi Wilson was arrested Wednesday afternoon.  Wilson had been given Power of Attorney over the man with several health issues.  Prosecutors say Wilson allegedly embezzled about 25-thousand from the man, and that she made herself beneficiary of the man’s life insurance policy.  She has been charged with financial exploitation of the elderly.
