Tips for Keeping Your Christmas Tree Fresh Through the Holidays

It’s important to keep your natural Christmas tree safe through the holidays.  University of Illinois Extension Educator Katie Parker says what your tree needs most is water.  She adds that if the tree is really drying out, you can re-cut the stump. Parker also mentioned that it’s a good idea to keep the tree away from heat sources like vents and direct sunlight.
