IDPH: Wait a Week if You Think You Were Exposed to COVID-19 Over Thanksgiving

If you think you may have been exposed to COVID-19 over the Thanksgiving weekend, the Illinois Department of Public Health recommends waiting a week before getting tested. While it can take 14 days to show symptoms after exposure, most people who have been infected will usually end up with a positive test at day seven.
