Department of Labor Warns of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning in the Workplace

The Illinois Department of Labor is warning about the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning at the workplace, especially during the fall and winter months. Some of the most common sources of CO exposure at work are internal combustible engines such as vehicles, generator and forklifts. The early signs of carbon monoxide poisoning include tightness in the chest, fatigue, headaches, drowsiness and nausea.
