In an announcement on Facebook, Miller Lite and the George A Mueller Company has announced that the 20th Annual Miller Lite Open, originally scheduled for January 16th 2021, has been cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns. The former Miller Lite/UCP Barstool Open, which now benefits Webster-Cantrell Youth Advocacy, is a 7 course, 7 hole round of miniature golf held at various bars and restaurants around the Decatur area. The statement says due to growing concerns and government-imposed restrictions, the company has chosen to cancel the scheduled upcoming event. The post does go on to say they are looking forward to 2022, when they look to retain the title of “Largest Event of it’s kind in the Country”.
