With new Covid infections soaring, Governor JB Pritzker says more restrictions may be in store for Illinois. The Governor isn’t saying yet what those restrictions might be, but warns they are coming if the virus continues to spread.
“If the numbers keep going in the wrong direction, we will need to impose further mitigations. I think we all remember what Phase 3 looked like or Phase 2 looked like. Those are all things that are under consideration”.
Pritzker says the public has got to do its part by wearing a mask and avoiding parties and gatherings. He says restaurants and bars need to follow the rules as well and not offer indoor service.
