Region Three in Illinois is on the brink of an indoor dining shutdown. The region includes the Springfield area and has seen two straight days of an eight-percent positivity rate. Christian and Montgomery counties have seen a weeks-long spike. The region went above eight-percent Thursday, and the state will shut down indoor dining at restaurants and bars at 12:01 am Sunday.
