Law Enforcement Increases Patrols for the Halloween Weekend

State and Local Police are increasing patrols for the Halloween weekend. More cops will be out on the roads now through early Monday morning, looking for speeders, distracted drivers and especially those behind the wheel driving while impaired. The Illinois Department of Transportation is urging those partying and celebrating over the Halloween weekend to designate a driver or take a cab or use a ride share service. IDOT stresses the key is to plan how you will get home ahead of time.
