The Macon County Supervisor of Assessments Office has announced it is temporarily operating at an extremely reduced staffing level due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and no in-person complaints will be heard at this time. Written assessment appeals and all homestead exemption applications can be filed in the Macon County Board Office on the 5th floor of the Macon County Office Building, located at 141 S. Main St. in Decatur. Questions and suggestions can also be emailed to Assessor@co.macon.il.us. Mail can be received at 141 S. Main St., Room 401, Decatur, IL. 62523.
