Legislative Black Caucus Discussing Issues Facing Black Business Owners

The Illinois Legislative Black Caucus is discussing issues facing Black business owners and entrepreneurs.  The group met virtually yesterday and says the General Assembly must act to create an equal playing field for Black business owners.  The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity reported that only 14-percent of business interruption grants went to Black-owned businesses.
