The State of Illinois is averaging more than 52 thousand tests run per day, making it one of the top states in the country. State Public Health Director Doctor Ngozi Ezike says they hope to expand that further so that everyone can be tested if they feel they need to. State officials say they continue to look at new methods for testing, such as Abbott Lab’s Fast-Action Antigen testing and the University of Illinois’ Saliva Testing.
