Organizations Participating In Hunger Action Month, Fighting Food Insecurity

A number of organizations are participating in Hunger Action Month and stepping up efforts to raise awareness about food insecurity.  Donations to the Eastern Illinois Foodbank in September will be matched up to ten thousand dollars by Fertilizer Dealer Supply.  EIF is also putting on a Stay at Homecoming social media engagement event, streaming a Macaroni Madness virtual cooking demonstration by area chefs, and hosting a virtual watch party streamed on Facebook Live of their Partner Recognition honors.  Feeding Our Kids is holding sorting and packing events and fundraising campaigns to benefit young people in Champaign County.
