Discounts Available for the G-E-D Test

Grant funding from the Illinois Community College Board will make it easier for students to get their G-E-D. Discounts on both the G-E-D and the comparable “HI-SET” tests will significantly lower the cost for students to get their graduation equivalency according to Board Director Brian Durham. Students will be able to take the normally $120 G-E-D exam for around $40 and the $93 HI-SET test for about $14.
