Illinois was well represented in Monday’s opening of the Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee. Mayor Lightfoot appeared on a morning roundtable that focused on the topic Protecting the Integrity of the Election. In the afternoon, Congresswoman Lauren Underwood was part of a discussion on COVID-19 and America’s Health. The session was streamed online. Congressman Danny Davis, Senator Dick Durbin and Illinois AFL-CIO President Tim Drea spoke in the afternoon at an event that focused on Lifting Up the American Worker.
