Three people are dead and two are injured after an ambulance and car collided in Woodford County. The crash happened early Saturday morning on Illinois Route 116 and County Road 24-hundred East. The car carrying three passengers crashed into an ambulance that was transporting a patient to the hospital. Illinois State Police say the driver of the car and two of its passengers were killed, one of which was the driver, 20 year old Morgan Grider, a Nursing Student at Millikin University according to the Peoria Journal Star. The third passenger was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the ambulance was also taken to the hospital with injuries. The passengers in the ambulance were okay.
