The University of Illinois is going to need hundreds of thousands, and possibly millions of coronavirus tests this fall. The school yesterday said the plan is to test all 50 thousand students and 11 thousand faculty and staff members for the coronavirus every couple of days to start the fall semester. That could go-on for weeks. U of I epidemiologist Becky Smith says people should be tested at least two times a week. Students and faculty members would not have to pay for the tests. It is unclear who will end-up paying for them.
