Governor J-B Pritzker says he does not expect Illinois to return to a normal, pre-pandemic way of life until next year. Pritzker says wearing masks will be necessary for at least another six months. State health officials say they’ve confirmed another one-thousand-seventy-six cases of the novel coronavirus in Illinois as well as 30 more fatalities. The new cases bring the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 173-thousand-731. Total deaths from COVID-19 now total seven-thousand-446.
