University of Illinois Releases Sexual Misconduct Report

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is revealing information about sexual misconduct accusations among faculty and staff.  Officials provided numbers yesterday from the 2017-2019 school years after a PhD student introduced a resolution in the Academic Senate last year requesting the data.  The data showed that 72 people accused faculty or staff of sexual misconduct in 2017.  There were 110 accusations in 2018 and 149 in 2019.  The university only formally investigated 67 out of the 331 complaints.
