Governor J.B. Pritzker announced a more than twenty-one-billion-dollar plan to improve roads and bridges in Illinois Tuesday. It’s estimated that over the next six years more than thirty-three hundred miles of road and eight million square feet of bridge decking will be reconstructed according to the Governor. He also says the work will create hundreds of thousands of jobs in Illinois. The work is being funded by the Governor’s “Rebuild Illinois” initiative.
