Murdered Decatur Woman’s Father Starts Youth Work Program

A murdered Decatur woman’s father is starting a youth work program.  The father of 22-year-old Shemilah Sanders was shot and killed in the city last month.  Shem Sanders announced the program yesterday, saying that his hope is that kids will know there is more to life than acting out in anger.  Youth who sign up for the four-week program will work five days a week for four hours each day doing landscaping.  They will get free food and will spend time with mentors.
