An Illinois high school football coach is out of a job after accusations of racism and abuse. The Georgetown-Ridge Farm School Board announced that head coach Josh Cavanaugh had resigned in a virtual meeting held Saturday night. Former coaches and players say Cavanaugh had a history of racism and abuse. Both supporters and detractors gathered near the football field during the meeting. There have been calls for Cavanaugh to also resign his position as assistant principal at Mary Miller Junior High.
