Governor JB Pritzker, along with State Senator Andy Manar, State Representative Sue Scherer, Mayor Julie Moore-Wolfe and others paid a visit to the Boys and Girls Club in Decatur Tuesday afternoon. Pritzker was in town to highlight the importance of investing in early childhood and early child care.
The Governor complimented the Administrator Shamika Bond and the staff of the Boys and Girls Club, along with the Community for their work to provide a safe place for kids to gather this summer, with social distancing restrictions, as camps begin to reopen. Pritzker also complimented Mayor Moore-Wolfe on her outstanding leadership during the course of the pandemic.
