A Decatur church has resumed in-person services, defying Governor J.B. Pritzker’s order. Salem Baptist Pastor Derek Bradshaw says his church is one of dozens that believe it is safe to restart in-person services. Bradshaw cites “biblical mandate, First Amendment rights, and essential versus non-essential discrimination.” The church is following health guidelines of wearing masks, social distancing, and sitting only with family. It limited attendance to 150 people.
