Police say a dump truck driver was under the influence at the time of a deadly crash on Lincoln Street in Auburn.
The crash happened Monday when state police say 43-year-old Bennie Jackson swerved into a ditch and passed over Lincoln. The dump truck landed in the Casey’s parking lot, hitting and killing 62-year-old Obadiah Gresham while she was outside her vehicle. Jackson is facing charges that include DUI and several traffic infractions. State Police are continuing to investigate and other criminal charges are pending.
