Governor J.B. Pritzker’s modified executive stay-at-home order is providing new guidelines for religious expression.
The order filed yesterday includes language that allows people to leave their homes “to engage in the free exercise of religion.” Religious activities are required to comply with social distancing requirements and limit gatherings to no more than ten people. Online and drive-in services are being encouraged over in-person worship.
