The COVID-19 pandemic has led President Trump to lift some truck driving regulations.
Steve Gold of Illinois’ 160 Driving Academy says the hours of service law has been temporarily repealed, allowing drivers hauling essential items to spend more time on the road. Weight limits have also been expanded as a way to get more products to essential businesses like grocery stores.
