On Wednesday, Governor Pritzker pushed back the state income tax-filing deadline to meet the new federal deadline of July 15th. The delay will also cover tax payments. Illinois Republicans had been pushing Pritzker for the tax delay.
Pritzker also announced three programs that will offer $90 million worth of low-interest loans and grants to small businesses that have faced economic problems due to the coronavirus.
