Ameren is suspending all disconnections for non-payment and forgiving any late payment fees for residential and business customers.
This in part is to help many affected by the Coronavirus epidemic. Many have been temporarily made unemployed, and many are forced to stay home. Ameren is using this practice to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and help the many people and businesses who are currently in situations such as the ones mentioned.
Normal billing for customers’ usage will continue as usual, but if you are having difficulty paying your bill, please contact Ameren’s Customer Care team or go to their Illinois payment assistance page to learn about your options.
