Voting day continued as planned on Tuesday March 17 as the voting for the primary happened in many institutions in Macon County.
Some venues canceled the voting process due to tight quarters, but there have been plenty of polling places made available to the county.
For those worried about large numbers, voting places have been fairly empty.
Despite previous concerns there has been plenty of staff for the facilities and plenty of sanitizer located at each location.
The outcome of Tuesday’s vote will decide the names on the ballots for the November election.
This is Josh Tanner’s first primary election as Macon County Clerk. But he has done everything in his power to keep them running as smoothly as possible. Early votes cast will be counted with the ones from Tuesday after voting closes.
