A man who has been accused of stealing from a number of parked cars in Mt. Zion has been arrested.
Sunday night, the Mt. Zion police were contacted by a person who saw a man looking through a friends car. When confronted, the suspect ran.
Later that night officers were sent to the intersection of Baltimore and Main Streets where they saw Adam Hobb, who matched a witness description, and was headed towards the Lakeview Motel.
Hobb was found with pills from a woman’s vehicle and admitted to breaking in to two or three vehicles. He has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and two counts of burglary. His bail has been set at $5,000.
