(Springfield, IL) — Illinois schools are finally getting paid under the state’s new funding formula. Illinois Comptroller Susana Mendoza on Monday said her office sent 350 million dollars to hundreds of schools across the state. This is the first time schools are being paid under a new measurement checklist. Some schools are getting more under the new formula, but no school will get less.
