(Daytona Beach, FL) — Austin Dillon took the lead on the final lap and pulled away to take the checkered flag at the 60th Daytona 500. Driving the number-three car, Dillon bumped Aric Almirola out of the way for the win 20 years after Dale Earnhardt Sr. won the famous race in the No. 3 car at Daytona. Dillon only led one lap the entire race, but made it count for his second Monster Energy Cup win.

Dani Cameranesi scored two goals to lead Team USA to victory. The women will face the semifinal winner between Canada and the Olympic Athletes from Russia in Wednesday’s gold medal game.

(Port St. Lucie, FL) — Tim Tebow is at Mets spring training and GM Sandy Alderson isn’t pulling any punches when explaining why. Alderson says Tebow is going to play in the big leagues and they want it to happen as quickly as possible. The former NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner was signed by the Mets to a minor-league deal in September, 2016.

(Chicago, IL) — The Chicago Blackhawks are apologizing for four fans who were ejected Saturday for hurling racist taunts at Washington Capitals forward Devante Smith-Pelly. ESPN reports the fans chanted the word “basketball” at Smith-Pelly, who is black, while he was in the penalty box. United Center security removed them from the game and the Blackhawks apologized in a statement after the game.

(Chicago, IL) — The Blackhawks host the Kings tonight at the United Center. Chicago ended an eight-game losing streak by crushing the Caps 7-1 on Saturday. The Blackhawks are still in last in the Central Division with 58 points, 11 out of a wild card spot. LA has 67 points and is in the mix for a playoff spot in the West.

(St. Louis, MO) — The Blues are off tonight. They begin a two-game homestand tomorrow against the Sharks. St. Louis lost both games on its road trip to Nashville and Dallas and has dropped three in-a-row overall. The Blues are fourth in the Central Division with 72 points. That’s good for the top wild card spot in the West, three points ahead of the Wild.
