(Champaign, IL) — Michael Finke recorded his second career double-double as Illinois ripped Division-Three school Augustana, 96-62, in Champaign. Finke finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds to guide the Illini. Leron Black added 15 points as Illinois improved to 5-and-0. The Illini host North Carolina Central tomorrow night.
In other college hoops action yesterday, Illinois State crushed Quincy, 86-57, Bradley cruised past Missouri Science and Technology, 79-47, Western Illinois nipped SIU-Edwardsville, 69-67, and Northern Illinois edged Manhattan, 70-68. Tonight, DePaul faces Michigan State in Portland and Chicago State visits UMBC. On Friday, Northwestern hosts Sacred Heart, Loyola faces UNC-Wilmington, and Eastern Illinois battles Fontbonne.
