The 6th Annual C-U at Home One Winter Night is scheduled for February 3rd &4th. One Winter Night is a huge community public awareness event to help the homeless. The event takes place in downtown Champaign. Participants will brave the cold for 12 hours, from 6pm-6am on Friday, February 3 – Saturday February 4, 2017.
Join city and county leaders, several area pastors, professionals, students and other public figures, as they spend the night outside, shivering in a cardboard box, in support of the most vulnerable homeless.
C-U at home are looking for more box dwellers to join the team. One Winter Night will shine the spotlight on education about homelessness with a full slate of presentations in the Champaign City Council Chambers from 6pm-10pm.
For the last five years, One Winter Night has raised about 2/3 of our annual operating budget for C-U at Home. In order to keep helping people through each area of our ministry, the fundraising goal for One Winter Night 2017 is set at $200,000.
