>>Cubs Edge Indians To Force Game Six

 

(Chicago, IL)  —  There will be a Game Six in the World Series.  The Cubs extended the Fall Classic with a 3-2 win over the Indians in Game Five at Wrigley Field.  Kris Bryant hit a solo homer during a three-run fourth inning.  Cleveland holds a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven set and hosts Game Six tomorrow.

 

>>Cowboys Cut Down Eagles In OT

 

(Arlington, TX)  —  Dak Prescott’s five-yard touchdown pass to Jason Witten in overtime gave the Cowboys a 29-23 win over the Eagles.  The NFC East-leading Cowboys rallied from a 23-13 deficit in the fourth quarter en route to their sixth straight win.

 

>>Pats Blow Out Bills

 

(Buffalo, NY)  —  Tom Brady threw four touchdown passes as the Patriots blew out the Bills, 41-25.  Rob Gronkowski became the team’s all-time leader in touchdowns in the victory.  The Pats are 7-and-1.

 

>>Vikings Battle Bears In NFC North Tilt On “MNF”

 

(Chicago, IL)  —  The “Monday Night Football” spotlight shines on the NFC North this week as the Vikings visit the Bears at Soldier Field. Chicago is coming off a 26-10 loss at Green Bay.  The Bears have dropped three in-a-row and are last in the NFC North at 1-and-6.  The Bears have lost three straight to the Vikings.

 

>>Blackhawks Blank Kings

 

(Chicago, IL)  —  Corey Crawford stopped all 32 shots he faced to lead the Blackhawks to a 3-0 win over the Kings in Chicago.  Crawford logged the 20th shutout of his career.  Marian Hossa, Artem Anisimov and Jonathan Toews [[ taves ]] had the goals for Chicago, which improved to 5-3-and-1.  The ‘Hawks host the Flames tomorrow.

 

>>Warriors Hold Off Suns

 

(Phoenix, AZ)  —  Kevin Durant scored 37 points as the Warriors knocked off the Suns, 106-100.  Steph Curry added 28 points for Golden State, which has won two straight since a season-opening loss.

 

>>Johnson Wins At Martinsville

 

(Ridgeway, VA)  —  Jimmie Johnson took the checkered flag at the Goody’s Fast Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway.  Johnson secured a spot in the Championship 4 race with the victory.  Johnson is in search of his seventh series title.
