In a game heard on Talk 101 FM, last night The Eisenhower Panthers closed out the City Championship and a trip to The Lincoln Regional finals with a 60-56 win over the MacArthur Generals. Eisenhower was led by Stephon Jarrett with 21 points in the win. MacArthur who finished 20-9 on the season was led by Armon Brummett who had 23 points in the loss. Eisenhower plays the winner of tonight’s Lincoln vs Springfield Southeast game Friday Night.

Major League Baseball is suspending Yankees closer Aroldis [[ ah-ROLL-dis ]] Chapman 30 games for his for alleged domestic violence incident. Chapman is the first player suspended under the new MLB Domestic Violence Policy. He says he will not appeal.

Patrik Berglund [[ BUHRG-luhnd ]] netted the lone goal of the shootout in the 11th round to lift the Blues over the Senators 4-3 at the Canadian Tire Centre. Jaden Schwartz tallied a goal and two assists, while Jake Allen made 40 saves for St. Louis, which won its second straight. The Blues are tied for first in the Central Division with 83 points. They play at Minnesota on Sunday.

The Colts and kicker Adam Vinatieri are currently working on a new contract, according Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Vinatieri has played 10 seasons in Indy after spending the first ten years of his career in New England. The 43-year-old made 25 of his 27 field goal attempts in 2015, and is set to become a free agent on March 9th.
