As heard on TALK 101 FM, Congratulations to the MacArthur Generals who won the 46th Annual Decatur Team Soy Turkey Tournament by beating Springfield Southeast 66-56.   The Eisnenhower Panthers defeated Bolingbrook 55-54 to take third place.

Illinois football lost to Northwestern 24-14 at Soldier Field in Chicago.   West Lunt threw for 241 yards for the Illini.   Before the game, Illinois announced a two-year contract extension to make Bill Cubit the head coach.  Cubit was tabbed as interim coach for this season after Tim Beckman was fired.

Illinois basketball fell to Iowa State 84-73.  Malcom Hill scored 20 points to lead the Fighting Illini.   Kendrick Nunn notched 19 points in his return to lineup after an injury.

The Millikin men will face off in the third place game at the Rhodes College Thanksgiving Tournament Sunday at Noon.   The Big Blue ladies basketball team will play at Blackburn College Monday night at 7PM.

The St. Louis Rams travel to Cincinnati to face the Bengals Sunday.  You can hear the gridiron action on TALK 101 FM at Noon.   Nick Foles will start at quarterback for the Rams after Case Keenum has been inactivated due to concussion protocol.

The Indianapolis Colts host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday at Noon.
