(Fenton, IL) — State conservation police are looking for whoever shot and killed two dogs in Whiteside County. Jeremy and Cerissa Chenoweth say that someone shot their dogs, Duke and Max, on Friday night. The Illinois Department of Natural Resources says the evidence appears to point to a hunter who pulled the trigger. The Chenoweth’s are offering a five thousand-dollar reward for any information that leads to an arrest. DNR officials says the shooter could be charged with a felony if caught.
