Even though freezing rain and nasty weather moved into Decatur on Saturday for the 16th annual United Cerebral Palsy Miller Lite Barstool Open it was still the largest in the United States and had a great turn out. More than 2,000 people took to the courses and more than 50 bars were involved for any event that raised 100,000 dollars for the United Cerebral Palsy organization. The event is important every year to helping support programs in the area also to help the United Cerebral Palsy organization which relies heavily on state funding for their programs. When the started 16 year ago there were nine sources and 50 teams, now the event has grown to 51 courses and over 500 teams.
