(Springfield, IL) — The state of Illinois is out with its annual reminder not to make your Thanksgiving guests sick. The Illinois Department of Public Health is reminding turkey cooks across the state to keep the bird clean and keep the rest of the kitchen hygienic. IDPH is also telling cooks to make sure the bird hits 165-degrees. And finally, state officials are telling people not to drink and drive and to be very careful with turkey fryers as well this year.
