A suspected of robbing three banks in Springfield, Illinois over the past few weeks has been arrested for allegedly robbing a bank in Missouri. WTAX Radio in Springfield reports that 51-year-old James Hulsey of Desloge, Missouri was arrested on Friday following a vehicle and foot chase with police along a Central Missouri interstate. The chase took place after Hulsey allegedly robbed a Blue Springs, Missouri bank.
Hulsey’s arrest comes about two months after he was released from federal prison for robbing banks in Springfield and the Kansas City area almost two decades ago. Â Springfield Police and the FBI are looking into seeing if Hulsey was responsible for the recent bank robberies in Springfield. No charges have been filed against Hulsey in Illinois.
