(Indianapolis, IN) — The Colts scored 10 points in the final 3:43 as they escaped the Bears with a 29-23 win at Lucas Oil Stadium. Andrew Luck hit T.Y. Hilton for the go-ahead 35-yard touchdown pass in the final quarter. The Bears fumbled on their next drive and Adam Vinatieri nailed his fifth field goal to ice the cake for Indianapolis. Hilton finished with 10 catches for 171 yards and the Colts improved to 2-and-3.

(Cleveland, OH) — Tom Brady threw for 406 yards and three touchdowns in his return, leading the Patriots to a 33-13 win over the Browns. Brady was back on the field for the first time since completing his four-game “Deflategate” suspension. The Pats are 4-and-1.

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Vikings are the last undefeated team left in the NFL. Minnesota trounced the Texans, 31-13, to improve to 5-and-0. The previously-unbeaten Eagles and Broncos suffered their first losses of the year.
>>Kubiak Hospitalized After Game
(Denver, CO) — Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak is in a Denver-area hospital after suffering from flu-like symptoms. According to ESPN, Kubiak coached through the game despite feeling sick and was taken to the hospital by ambulance after completing the post-game press conference.
>>Illini Lose Fourth Straight To Purdue
(Champaign, IL) — Illinois’ losing streak is now at four. The Fighting Illini lost 34-31 in overtime to Purdue Saturday at Memorial Stadium. Chase McLaughlin’s 41-yard field goal on the final play of regulation could have won it for Illinois, but hit the upright. The Illini play at Rutgers this Saturday.

(Toronto, Ontario) — The Blue Jays are moving on to the American League Championship Series. The Jays completed a three-game sweep of the Rangers with a 7-6, 10-inning win in Game Three of their AL Division Series. The Blue Jays will face either the Red Sox or Indians in the ALCS. The Indians have a 2-0 lead on Boston.
>>Cubs Clash With Giants In Game Three
(San Francisco, CA) — The Cubs and Giants meet in Game Three of their NL Division Series tonight in San Francisco. Chicago has a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five set after winning Game Two, 5-2, on Saturday. Chicago’s Jake Arrieta opposes Madison Bumgarner tonight.

(Charlotte, NC) — Jimmie Johnson took the checkered flag at the Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway yesterday. Johnson secured a spot in the Round of Eight in the Chase playoffs with the victory. Johnson also ended a 24-race winless streak, which was the longest of his career.
