The Mt. Zion High School volleyball team is giving back to the community after raising $1,683 for the Decatur Cancer Center.
The Braves presented the check as part of their Dig Pink campaign, which supports cancer awareness and care. The team’s efforts are another example of student-athletes making a difference beyond the volleyball court.
The Cancer Care Center of Decatur provides cancer treatment and support services for patients throughout central Illinois. Services include medical oncology, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and other treatment options, along with resources to help patients and their families navigate a cancer diagnosis.
