DECATUR, Ill. — Several Decatur-area teams were in action Monday night, with four volleyball matches and one boys soccer contest highlighting the local schedule.
Maroa-Forsyth continued its strong run on the volleyball court, sweeping Argenta-Oreana 2-0.
Central A&M also picked up a victory, defeating Neoga 2-1 in three sets.
Warrensburg-Latham needed three sets to get past Greenview, earning a 2-1 road win. The Cardinals also won the JV match in straight sets and return home Wednesday to face Tri-City.
Monticello came up short on the road against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, falling 2-1.
On the soccer field, MSVCAM and North Mac finished even in a 3-3 draw.
The fall sports schedule continues throughout the week with more conference and nonconference action across the Decatur area.
