Mt. Zion Parks and Recreation will offer residents a chance to get creative during a beginner-friendly Paint & Sip class Wednesday, September 17.
The event begins at 7 p.m. at the Fletcher Park Recreation Center, 323 Fletcher Park Boulevard in Mt. Zion.
The class will feature a fall-inspired painting called “Owl Friend Pumpkin,” with participants creating a midnight owl design on a wooden pumpkin canvas.
Local artist Jacque Robinson will lead the class and provide step-by-step instruction. Organizers say no previous painting experience is needed.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own snacks and drinks to enjoy during the class. Alcoholic beverages are also permitted.
Additional Paint & Sip classes are planned for October 8 and October 22, with more dates expected to be added.
