Man Charged in Decatur Stabbing

A Decatur man is facing charges after a weekend stabbing on the city’s east side. Police say two men got into an argument Sunday in the 2100 block of East Prairie Avenue. Investigators say the dispute turned physical, and one man stabbed the other during the fight. The injured man was taken to the hospital, where authorities say he is expected to recover. The other man was arrested and charged with aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, as well as aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Police have not released additional details about what led to the argument.
